Why I Travel: The Rhythm Behind the Routes
Finding My Way Back to Myself
For as long as I can remember, music and movement have been the two things that bring me back to myself. A song can shift my whole perspective. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the two weren’t separate for me, they were connected. Every trip had a soundtrack. Every concert had a story. Every journey had a rhythm.
That’s how Rhythm & Routes was born.
Not as a travel blog.
Not as a concert diary.
But as a space where the two meet — where my love for music, photography, and exploration all live together.
Traveling With Intention
I don’t travel just to check places off a list.
I travel to feel something.
To feel alive.
To feel inspired.
To feel connected — to myself, to others, to the world.
Sometimes that connection comes from a concert that leaves me buzzing for days. Sometimes it comes from wandering a new city with my camera, letting the colors, sounds, and energy guide me.
Travel, for me, is healing.
It’s joy.
It’s freedom.
It’s choosing myself again and again.
The Stories I Tell Here
This space is where I share:
the cities that changed me
the concerts that moved me
the people I met along the way
the moments that made me laugh, cry, breathe and grow
the photos that captured the energy of it all
Some stories are loud and full of music. Some are quiet and full of reflection. All of them are real.
Why Rhythm & Routes Matters to Me
This blog isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence.
It’s about the way a song hits different when you hear it live. It’s about the way a city feels when you’re exploring it alone for the first time. It’s about the way travel can rebuild you when life breaks you open.
It’s about honoring the moments that remind me who I am.
Where We’re Going From Here
If you’re reading this, welcome. You’re stepping into my world — the world where music, travel, photography, and storytelling all collide.
I hope my stories make you feel something. I hope they inspire you to take a trip, book the ticket, go to the concert, or just choose yourself a little more boldly.
